Best practices for optimizing NinjaTrader 8 performance with

Is anyone else experiencing lag on NinjaTrader 8 when running multiple custom indicators at once? I trade multiple instruments simultaneously (NQ and ES), and whenever market volume spikes, my platform seems to slow down or skip ticks. I've already updated my PC specs, so I’m starting to think the bottleneck is with poorly coded third-party scripts. How do you guys maintain high performance and real-time accuracy on NT8 without crashing your workspace during major news events or high-volume breakouts?

Re: Best practices for optimizing NinjaTrader 8 performance

Lag during market spikes is almost always caused by inefficient indicator code calculating every single tick incorrectly. Hardware helps, but optimized software is key. If you want fast performance without sacrificing detailed market analysis, try using well-coded nt8 indicators designed with memory management in mind. Professional setups minimize platform load while delivering high-frequency updates smoothly, ensuring your charts don't freeze right when you need to enter or manage an active trade.

Great point about the code efficiency, I will try swapping out my heavy scripts for those!
